  • Position Summary*

This position will be an associate analyst role that will provide technical expertise and coordinate solution support to business partners primarily in our Corporate and Aviation Security department. Other departments supported are Safety, Emergency Response, and Training Administration. Job duties to include support of our internal security systems and governmental regulatory processes around passenger and crew travel.

Analysts provide analysis and reporting services in support of our Line of Business, Pillar, and Enterprise levels. This group also updates, maintains, and analyzes data from various enterprise tools. Analyst liaises with stakeholders to understand analysis and reporting needs and creates deliverables to enable the organization to meet its goals. The detailed work includes analyzing data, numbers and creating deliverables to enable summarizing, proposing, or updating the stakeholders. The individuals in this family should be excellent listeners, communicators (oral and written), and able to distill the key topics/components/issues from discussions.

  • Key Responsibilities*

  • Translate technical and architectural complexities of a technical solution so that project stakeholders can easily understand.

  • Support the delivery of exceptional customer service that builds trust through responsive, accurate, consistent, knowledgeable and available services and support.

  • Support the organization’s project management policy, practice, and methodology.

  • Gathers requirements and documents these requirements for use within the project life cycle.

  • Interacts with business representatives and other partners, including vendors, to ensure that requirements are accepted and well-known.

  • Understands the source and use of key data and prepares analysis reports to enable design decisions.

  • Participates in the creation of use cases and user expected results to ensure that software is delivered to end users with zero Severity 1 or Severity 2 defects.

  • Provide timely and accurate progress information to project status reports.

  • Authority to recommend changes to processes and procedures.

  • Work with project stakeholders to validate their requirements and analysis models via techniques such as reviews and walkthroughs.

  • Ensure system specifications meet the business unit expectations/requirements.

  • Completes tasks under direction of senior team members and management.

  • Accurately record and report their work efforts and uses corporate assets in a responsible manner.

  • Ensure the requirements map to a real business need, are approved by all relevant stakeholders, and meet essential quality standards.

  • Maintains existing requirements to ensure that current-state needs are known.

  • Ensure that technology solutions adhere to quality standards.

  • Participate in the development of cost/benefit analysis.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum Requirements*

  • Bachelor’s Degree (in lieu of degree – 4 years of professional work experience)

  • Ability to create sufficient documentation to ensure the supportability of their analysis.

  • Demonstrates applied knowledge of one or more analysis and problem decomposition techniques.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrates good writing and documentation skills.

  • Possesses good analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills.

/ Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $58,000 - $68,000./

  • Preferred Qualifications*

  • Work experience in the Aviation Security or Airport Operations realm.

  • Familiarity with Amadeus, Sabre, or other GDS/CRS platforms.

  • Experience developing technology stacks that support in-house or vendor solutions deployed and maintained on digital mobile platforms.

  • Experience with database administration and SQL queries.

  • Experience with SharePoint Online site administration.

  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

  • Familiarity with Tableau for report creation and automation.

  • Familiarity with Snowflake or other data warehousing tool.

  • ** Familiarity with Microsoft Visio or other diagramming tool.
